Fire alarm goes off at Davos WEF while Trump inside Congress Center
Authorities said the exact origin of the fire remained unclear as of Wednesday evening. A spokesperson for Graubünden cantonal police confirmed that emergency services were dispatched to the site, including firefighters, police, and ambulances, due to the high-security environment surrounding the president.
Trump had delivered a speech at the venue earlier in the afternoon. Officials reported that no injuries occurred during the incident.
The alarm came shortly after another fire-related emergency in Davos that evening, when a fondue shack near a local hotel caught fire. Guests were temporarily evacuated, but police confirmed that no one was injured in that incident either.
