Craven County CARTS Offering Transportation to Greenville

Craven Area Rural Transit System (CARTS) has launched the Greenville Express pilot program in collaboration with Onslow United Transit Service (OUTS) and Carteret County Area Transit Service (CCATS) to expand transportation access for residents in Craven, Jones, Pamlico, Onslow, and Carteret counties. Through this partnership, community members will now have coordinated transportation options to Greenville, NC.

Residents wishing to travel to Greenville should contact their local transportation provider—CARTS, CCATS, or OUTS—at least two days prior to their trip. All passengers will meet at the New Bern Mall and board a CARTS vehicle for transport.

The Greenville Express will arrive in Greenville at 10:00 AM and depart at 2:00 PM, with service offered initially on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Fare is $20 one way or $40 roundtrip, with payment required before boarding.

Contact CARTS at 252-636-4917 to book your ride or for more information on this new service.
